arT's nickname

The nickname “arT” has two meanings – first one goes back to his childhood, when at first he was not able to pronounce his name properly, so the word that came out of his mouth sounded more like “arT” instead of “Andrei”.

The second one is linked to his style of play and his understanding of Counter-Strike. It is not just a game for him, it is exactly what his nickname says – a form of arT. That is why he has such a unique approach to the game because he sees it to be much, much more than just a game.

arT's playstyle

The way arT plays is unlike most of the other professional players in the Counter-Strike scene. He plays without fear, no matter the opponent. This often results in him going head first, no hesitation, and shoots everyone in his way. He has quickly gained this reputation as he has been dominating with this playstyle ever since reaching the top of professional CS:GO.

The history of arT

The beginning of arT's career was determined way before his official days as a player had started. His friends and he were going back home from school, worried about the homework they had been given just a couple of hours ago. One of them suggested that none of them should play Counter-Strike until they have finished the homework.

Everybody laughed, but after a few moments, they were stunned by how great of an idea that was – if they pushed themselves for a certain period of time, they would have so much free time to play Counter-Strike together without any pressure due to unfinished school tasks.

It was then arT started thinking about time management, and how great he could become at anything if he just organized his time properly and put in the necessary effort. Judging by his pro career, it definitely worked.

arT's career

Despite arT being so young, he was able to acquire a precious amount of experience. Some of the teams who had an honor of having him on their roster were Rude Game, Hardknocks, Ilha da Macacada, En9my Team, paiN Gaming, INTZ Sports and his current home – FURIA.
