Pinnacle Cup 2021 Completed

Pinnacle Cup 2021

Mar 3, 2021Apr 4, 2021

Pinnacle Cup 2021 is a new tournament, and it’s quite different from others. This time we won’t see only top teams on the rankings, but we get to see teams that are trying to end up among the best of the best. Teams like Copenhagen Flames, Nordavind, FunPlus Phoenix and Gambit are ready to bring you entertainment.

A total of 32 teams will be competing in the $100,000 event, that takes place over a month.

Another thing that makes this different from other tournaments is you go all the way, or you gain nothing. It’s only the winner and the runner-up that gets a share of the prize pool. So, you can be assured everyone will fight for victory.

We have selected five players that you should look out for in Pinnacle Cup 2021 - because they are on the rise or is the best players right now. Use the information with common sense and don't use our subjective assessment in games or betting if you do not agree.

A player that is known to perform under pressure is Hobbit. The 1-time major champion showed us just that, in the IEM Katowice 2021 final against without a doubt the man of the hour, that made sure the victory was brought home, where it belongs.

After FunPlus Phoenix had to say goodbye to chrisJ, luckily suNny was ready to jump in and take his place. The allover lineup is still very new, so, suNny will have to be on his A-game in order to help his team succeed.

A player we never really get the hang of where is, is NaToSaphiX. Over the past 6 months he’s been the go-to stand-in player for many teams, but now he might have found a new home with Lyngby Vikings. He assures us he wants to play pro and on the best teams, lets hope he can make it happen again.

Since parting with NiP, where he has inactive anyways, we haven’t seen twist play. We are really excited to see what he can do with Lemondogs and how far they can come, since twists in an excellent player.

HAVU overall has a great set of players, but one that performs extra at the moment is xseveN. He keeps showing that in every game he plays, and will be one to look close for during tournaments to learn a new trick or two.
